In Which I Cry & Thank You All

Disclaimer: I am in no way trying to brag. My one and only intention for this post was to thank you all, and to announce that of which I was shocked to learn I was awarded. I do not even entirely believe that I am deserving of this, and making anybody feel bad would be the farthest thing from what I'm trying to get across. 

I just want you to know that I was/am very close to crying and just.

On Sunday, the 26th of April, I received an email through the contact form on my other blog. I figured it was somebody asking for advice/contacting me about blog designs. I opened it to find that it was from Lulu and Bella of The Doll Mag.

I flipped.

My dad can testify, as he watched me convulse on the couch, laughing for I didn't know what else to do. 

The girls informed me about how they had been running voting for categories of Bloggers, and after counting up all their votes, it was determined that I won Best New Blogger.

I'm seriously going to cry right now.

If there is one thing I am sure of, it's that I am not the best in anything. At least, not in my eyes. Others have better pictures, better stories, better... everything.

But I won. Because some of you took it upon yourselves to vote for me.

Me.

Nerdy little Adaline who hasn't even been prominent in the last 3 months.

If there was going to be anything that was going to spark my inspiration again, it was this. Reading that email was akin to somebody taking a bulldozer to the dam that had stopped the flow of ideas/will to do anything.

I can't even express how grateful I am right now. This is insane to me. Utterly insane. My picture; up with Liz's and Clarisse's? That's unbelievable.
To those who voted for me, whoever you are, whether you are a follower or not; thank you. Thank you so bloody much.

I've known this for a week yet I'm still at a loss for words about it. I really don't know what to say except to keep reiterating thank you. I've got some things planned for the blog, and posts I want to do. I can only hope that I live up to how you guys see me. 

This blog was my dream come true, and I'm going to keep it alive for as long as I can. 

I'm going to say it one last time, and then I'm done, and off to go curl up in the corner and cry.
